Notes
(for the bird pictured above):

Purchased via an online auction as a "red-eyed greenback", the red eyes probably via an Ino gene, whose siblings have both normal and red eyes. To me the eyes are not red but a lighter colour than a normal Gouldian greenback. Parents are apparently:
Cock: Red head, Purple breast, Green back with black eyes.
Hen: Red head, White breast, Green back with black eyes.

So the parent cock must be purple split white breasted, and both split to some type of "red-eye" gene.
Body wise, the parent cock must be green split yellow, so Single-factor Pastel Yellow, because this specimen definitely looks green split yellow.
His throat, under bright light, is a very dark brown rather than a black hue. This should be grey in colour if he really is Single-factor Pastel Yellow.

So in the end he does seem to be a little phenotypically different (brownish eyes and dark brown throat instead of grey or black), so it will be interesting to investigate what genes he actually carries.

He came with quite dirty feet, which I am now trying to clean.

General mutation notes: This generalised category covers all head colours (red, orange, and black) and chest colours (purple, lilac, and white).
General species notes: Hardiness: Hardy when acclimatized
Reproduction: Often problematic
Singing ability: Somewhat poor
Compatibility: Passive, mixes well with other passive species
Size: 5" (12.7 cm)
Weight: Around 16-17 grams
